Promises, Promises…
Wednesday, July 7th, 2010There are loads of posters around at the moment about Nat West’s new Customer Charter. A sensible idea, on the whole. One of the promises is We will aim to serve the majority of customers within 5 minutes in our branches. This could be rephrased as we don’t mind if half of our customers wait more than five minutes which sounds much worse. Interesting contrast between two things that are, logically, the same statement.
